So some people have no problems growing up, learning from past mistakes and just overall experiencing their lives at different stages in their life. On the other hand their are a lot of people who see change as a bad thing. As a way of creating new events and finding new people and leaving everything they once knew behind. Of maybe changing your life so drastically that it makes you want to stay a child and do child/adolescent things when you may be in your 30's and 40's.
This however is not the case. Life is soo short. Changes in a persons life is a natural process. As you grow older certain things you used to do aren't as accepted as when you were young. For example: hanging out till 3 in the a.m. with friends when you have work at 8 the next morning. Or if you have a wife/husband and family at home and you're out partying with your friends.
I think the main problem is having to admit that you're getting older and things have to change slightly not entirely to suit this new stage in your life. Everyone goes through it, some better than others, however to most this is a very scary and confusing time.
A time when you should be more responsible for your actions. A time when you need to be more independent from your friends and take on what you have to in order to get what you want out of life. Nothing comes easy and if you want something you're going to have to fight for it most likely.
